Launch Kit License Agreement

Your Launch Kit is licensed for use by one business to build and operate that business's own website. Licensed for use by one business to build and operate that business's own primary production website, using one industry Launch Kit.

What your purchase covers

• One customer account
• One licensed business
• One industry Launch Kit
• One primary production business website

What it does not include

• Access to the other 14 Launch Kits
• Ownership of the Web Starts Here Launch platform or the underlying Launch Kit system
• Resale, redistribution or sublicensing rights
• White-label or repackaging rights
• Commercial implementation rights for third-party client businesses

Working with a team or contractors

Your own team, contractors, designers or developers may work inside your Launch Kit on behalf of your licensed business. That does not allow them to reuse Web Starts Here materials for their other customers.

Use that the standard license does not permit

• Reselling a Launch Kit
• Sublicensing a Launch Kit
• Redistributing Launch Kit content
• Copying the system for third-party commercial use
• White-labelling a Launch Kit
• Repackaging Launch materials as your own course or product
• Selling access to Web Starts Here proprietary materials
• Commercially exploiting Launch Kits for unrelated client businesses
• Creating derivative commercial training products from protected Web Starts Here material
• Representing yourself as an authorized Web Starts Here partner without a separate agreement

What Web Starts Here keeps

You receive rights to use your Launch Kit for your licensed business. Web Starts Here retains ownership of its own materials and systems, including:

• Launch Kit frameworks
• The 12-stage launch methodology
• Proprietary instructional systems
• Prompt systems and prompt libraries
• Documentation and process structures
• Templates and checklists
• Launch application functionality and product organization
• Reusable internal methods and master systems
• Branded materials

Access

• One-time purchase. No recurring Web Starts Here Launch subscription is required for a purchased Launch Kit.
• Ongoing access to your purchased Launch Kit while your account remains in good standing and the Web Starts Here Launch platform continues to be operated.
• The website you lawfully create for your licensed business is yours to keep operating; it does not depend on maintaining a Launch subscription.

Updates

• Routine v1.x updates and minor improvements to your purchased Launch Kit are included with ongoing access.
• Examples: typo corrections, clarification improvements, prompt improvements, minor content refinements, compatibility maintenance, quality-of-life updates.
• A future, materially rebuilt major version of a Launch Kit (for example a 2.0 rebuild) may be offered as a separate product or paid upgrade.

Licensed business

A license is associated with the specific business it was purchased for. You do not need to have chosen a domain before purchasing. Changing the licensed business is a controlled change rather than something a license holder can do repeatedly on their own. License reassignment between unrelated businesses is a future legal-policy area. Controlled changes only; no transfer rules implemented today.

Using Web Starts Here systems for clients

The standard license is for your own business. A separate future partner relationship — working name Web Starts Here Certified Partner — would be required to implement Web Starts Here systems commercially for other businesses. That program is not offered today.

Items reserved for legal review

• Formal grant, restriction and termination wording — reserved for counsel.
• Breach consequences and remedies — reserved for counsel. None are stated here.
• No damages formulas, percentages or liquidated-damages terms are defined.
• Governing law and jurisdiction — reserved for counsel.
